Description
One hour on a quad is enough to cover a real stretch of the Agafay and come back grinning. After a short safety briefing and a few minutes to get used to the automatic bike, you follow a guide along dirt tracks, dry riverbeds and open rocky plain, with the High Atlas filling the skyline the whole way.
The route is built for beginners — no experience needed, and you ride at your own pace behind the guide. It’s a dry, dusty landscape, so you finish with the desert on your clothes, which is rather the point. Helmets and, in season, dust protection are provided.
Good to know
- Minimum age applies for solo riders; younger children ride as passengers.
- Closed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dusty.
- Late afternoon rides catch the best light and cooler air.
Want more time on the bike? The two-hour ride goes deeper into the plateau. Both combine well with lunch by a camp pool.
