It runs on solar power, lights everything by candle and lantern after dark, and has no cellular signal or Wi-Fi anywhere on site. The pool and the setting
La Pause is tucked into the sandy folds of the Agafay, quiet and screen-free, roughly 30–40 km and about a 45-minute drive from Marrakech. It’s the most complete digital detox in the desert — a place people come to disconnect, eat slowly and do very little in the best way.
